9 August: Flag at Sri Vijaya Puram
- EventOn 9 August 2026, Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan hoisted the National Flag. He did this at Sri Vijaya Puram.
- PlaceSri Vijaya Puram is a place in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
- DateThe date also marked August Kranti Diwas. This is the anniversary of the 1942 Quit India Movement.
