MCQ Questions (“we,” “us,” “this site”) is a free practice site for competitive exam aspirants. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.
Information We Collect
You can practice most questions on this site without creating an account. If you do register (for example, to use the student dashboard), we collect:
- Account information: username and email address, used to create your account and log you in.
- Quiz activity: your answers, scores, and progress on practice quizzes, so results and history can be shown back to you.
- Automatically collected data: standard technical information such as browser type, device type, approximate location (from IP address), and pages visited, collected via Jetpack Stats and Microsoft Clarity for basic site analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies: small files used to keep you logged in and, if you leave a comment, to remember your name/email for next time. Microsoft Clarity also uses cookies and session recording to show us how visitors use this site (for example, clicks, scrolling, and page navigation), and Google AdSense and WordAds set cookies to serve and measure ads on this site — see Third-Party Services below for all of these.
How We Use Your Information
- To operate your account and show your quiz results and progress
- To keep the site secure and working correctly
- To understand overall site usage (e.g. which subjects are most practiced, and how visitors navigate the site) so we can improve the content and user experience
- To respond if you contact us
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use Google AdSense and WordAds to show ads on this site, and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site — see Third-Party Services below for how these work, and Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information below for how to opt out.
Third-Party Services
This site is hosted on WordPress.com and uses the following third-party services, each of which processes some data on our behalf under its own privacy policy:
- Automattic / WordPress.com — site hosting. See the Automattic Privacy Policy.
- WordAds (Automattic) — the ad network built into our WordPress.com hosting, which may serve ads on this site alongside or instead of Google AdSense. WordAds uses cookies and works with third-party ad partners (including Google) to serve and measure ads, some of which may be personalized based on your visits to this and other sites. See the WordAds support page and the Automattic Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads via Google Ads Settings, the NAI opt-out page, or www.aboutads.info.
- Jetpack — site statistics and related-content features (owned by Automattic, same policy as above).
- MCQ Questions practice system — stores completed practice attempts and results for signed-in members in our site database.
- Google AdSense — serves ads on this site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. - Microsoft Clarity — a behavioral analytics tool from Microsoft that helps us understand how visitors use this site, using cookies, heatmaps, and anonymized session recordings (mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling). Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, treat certain ad-cookie sharing with advertising partners — like Google AdSense and WordAds — as a form of “sharing” for targeted advertising. If you would like to opt out of this, you can:
- Opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings
- Opt out of interest-based ads from other ad networks via the NAI opt-out page or www.aboutads.info
- Email Support@mcqquestion.com with “Do Not Sell or Share My Info” in the subject line, and we will pass your opt-out request on to our ad partners where technically possible
Use of AI in Our Content
We use AI tools to help research, draft, and organize much of the content on this site, including practice questions, explanations, and study articles. Every piece of content is checked against reliable sources before it’s published, and we welcome corrections if you spot an error. AI tools are not used to make decisions about your account or personal data — their role is limited to helping create the educational content itself.
Data Retention
We keep account and quiz-activity data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize this data, except where we need to retain it to comply with a legal obligation.
Your Rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you (you can export saved practice results from My Progress)
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data
These rights are available to all users regardless of location, and align with data-protection principles such as those in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), even though this site does not specifically target EU users. To exercise any of them, contact us using the details below.
Children’s Privacy
This site is intended for competitive exam aspirants and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent changes.
