K.S. Krishnan: The Physicist Behind the Raman Effect

  • He received the Padma Bhushan in 1954.
  • In 1958, Krishnan became the first Physical Sciences category winner of the newly-instituted Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize, India’s leading science award, created by CSIR.
