What MHA Does NOT Cover
- Foreign Policy Foreign policy and diplomacy belong to the Ministry of External Affairs, not MHA.
- Drinking Water and Sanitation Water supply and hygiene fall under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, a completely separate ministry from MHA.
- Defence The armed forces and national defence belong to the Ministry of Defence, not MHA.
- Common Exam Trap Exams often list a plausible-sounding department, like health, education, or water supply, and ask which one does NOT belong to MHA. Learning the six real departments by name is the best defence against this trap.
