Mission Sudarshan Chakra is India’s 10-year plan to build a real, layered shield against air and missile threats. PM Modi announced it on Independence Day 2025. It grew directly out of lessons learned during Operation Sindoor, when systems like the S-400 intercepted Pakistani missiles and drones.
